The programming of the CNC lathe manufacturer reflects the programming intention of the programmer through the program. How to correctly choose the amount of turning plays a vital role in the processing economy of the parts and the formation of the final accuracy. When roughing, the amount of turning should be selected according to the processing economy of the part. When rough machining, the amount of turning should be selected according to the machining accuracy of the part, especially the surface roughness.

Turning parameters include: reverse feed AP, spindle speed s or cutting speed VC (for constant linear speed cutting), feed VF or feed F. These parameters should be selected within the allowable range given by the machine tool.

1. Determine the reverse cutting amount AP (ie cutting depth): When the rigidity of the processing system and the power of the lathe allow, a large amount of reverse cutting can be selected on the straight edge to reduce the feed rate and improve production efficiency. At the same time, it can reduce the stall of the machine tool (mainly the backlash of the screw). The impact on machining accuracy. The economical CNC machine tool adopting the stepping drive feed servo system must avoid excessive stepping and stepping loss.

2. Determine the spindle speed: When rotating on a smooth surface, the spindle speed should be selected according to the selected reaction force, feed speed and tool durability. Generally speaking, CNC lathe manufacturers say that it can be calculated based on empirical formulas. According to production practice experience, you can refer to the relevant manuals within the allowable cutting speed range in the machine manual to understand the cutting amount. It should be noted that the low-speed output torque of AC variable frequency CNC machine tools is very small, so the cutting speed cannot be too low.

In actual programming, after determining the cutting speed VC, the spindle speed n can be calculated according to the formula n=1000vc/ed. In the numerical control system with different spindle speeds, when turning threads, different spindle speeds should adopt different spindle speed ranges. For the most economical CNC lathe, the recommended spindle speed in rolling mode is n"1200-k type p-initial thread pitch, mm; k-safety factor, generally 80.

3. The feed rate directly affects the roughing value and turning efficiency of the worktable. Therefore, under the premise of ensuring the quality of the worktable, a higher feed speed should be selected. According to the surface roughness of the part, the tool material and the workpiece, please refer to the manual selection of cutting amount.
